Guidelines for Posting

First of all, welcome to the NSCS BookFinder at the University of Houston. We hope that you will find this service very helpful in selling/buying used textbooks for your classes.

In order for you to find the books you want more efficiently, please follow the general guidelines for posting:
1) First, use the search button and type in the name of your class (for example, MANA3335). If you don't see any postings which are helpful to you, proceed to step two.
2) When creating a new post, only put whether you are selling or buying a book and a name of the class (for example Selling MANA3335) in the "Title of the topic".
3) In the body of the post, please include the name, ISBN number and the condition of the book. Also, tell other members how you want to be contacted. You can post your phone number or e-mail address. You can also use the intra-forum messaging system.
4) Post and wait!
5) If you already sold or bought the book you needed, make sure to say so in your original post. That will eliminate confusion and people asking you for the details, when in reality you already sold the book.

These guidelines are made in order to better serve you as a member. If you choose not to follow these, be ready that your posts might take longer to find. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
